Our AstroFXAudio system designs reflect 25+ years of specialized audio system design experience by company founder, Jeff Bowen, with major input from the well-educated and experienced Bowen staff (see www.bowentechnovation.com/planetarium/people.htm).
In cooperation with the world's most respected component and speaker manufacturers, Bowen has created custom Bowen-specific new designs and applications for the hardware featured in these systems. |

AstroFXAudio Standard and Advanced Systems...
AstroFXAudio Systems are available in Standard and Advanced packages with MP (Mid Power) and HP (High Power) versions.
Compared to the Standard series systems, the Advanced systems provide more features, premium grade THX amplifiers, a higher quality wireless mic package, a backup microphone package, and additional front-stage microphone jacks.
Equivalent dome size MP and HP Standard systems include the exact same front-end features, but the HP systems provide more horsepower, larger speakers, etc.
The systems are prewired in our Indianapolis facility in professional racks and shipped to site as complete units with all wiring harnesses attached. This makes for a very simple and low cost installation at your site by Bowen technicians with a minimal amount of theater time required for the installation.
You can arrange delivery of these systems by contacting your Bowen Technovation account representative or through the supplier of your planetarium projection system.
To fully understand these system offerings, see the AstroFXAudio System matrix to compare what features are included in these systems.

AstroFXAudio SP Systems...
We also developed a nice family of SP (Small Planetarium) systems for tight budgets and sites that do not require a full-featured system. Our SP family of low cost audio systems is specially designed for domes up to 30 feet where excellent quality 5.1 audio is required, but at relatively low volume levels. The primary audio sources for these systems are typically an all-dome video/graphics system server, a professional CD player, and a wireless mic package. |
